Partnering with Asian Cinemas, the iconic star is set to launch Asian Megastar Cineplex (AMC), with the first location opening at Kushaiguda during Sankranti 2027.
First Venture: Asian Megastar Cineplex at Kushaiguda
The renowned Talluri Theatres in Kushaiguda, Hyderabad, will be transformed into the first Asian Megastar Cineplex. Chiranjeevi and Asian Cinemas are completely renovating the existing theatre complex with modern features, advanced sound systems, and cutting-edge screening technology.
While the exact number of screens and seating capacity hasn’t been officially revealed, industry sources confirm that preparations are underway for a Sankranti 2027 opening. The old theatre will be modernized into a multiplex format to provide audiences with a premium viewing experience.
Second Venture: World’s Largest Screen in Financial District
Chiranjeevi’s partnership with Asian Cinemas to build the world’s largest screen in Hyderabad’s Financial District has already created significant buzz. This ambitious project will take longer to complete, which is why the Kushaiguda multiplex is being launched first.
The Financial District property is expected to be a massive premium cinema destination, though construction timelines indicate it will open after the Kushaiguda location.
Chiranjeevi Joins Telugu Stars in Multiplex Business
Chiranjeevi’s entry into the theatre business continues a growing trend among Telugu cinema superstars. Ram Charan recently launched ARC Cinemas with Asian Cinemas, while Mahesh Babu established the AMB Classic Victory with IMAX at RTC X Roads. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Allu Arjun have also ventured into the multiplex space in Hyderabad.
